Acupoints are smaller than a finger-tip, perceptible by touch and distributed along the meridians which act like reservoirs of energy that can be accessed via movement, massage and needling.

If we are stressed in the shoulders, Meridian Yoga treats this tension as energy which needs to be moved on, so the movements sedate the stress, and move the energy away. Similarly, if someone is tired, the yoga movements are used to strengthen and tonify the acupoints, which then feed the meridian and the organ it is connected to.
