During winter we want to pause, to reflect, to have some time out to go within.

Slowing down, eating slow cooked foods, and getting some extra rest. It’s the time to rejuvenate the kidneys and bladder, which not only filter the blood and store urine but also govern our nervous, reproductive and endocrine systems.

Winter is the time to find ways to deal with how stress effects your life, to take the time to look after your bones, your spine and your brain, which impacts how well we sleep and how well we cope with our busy lives.

Having a full life is wonderful but not taking the required time to decompress from the busy-ness will start to negatively impact the nervous and immune systems.

Why not be one of those people who don’t worry about flus and colds?
